About Stephen

A lot of interesting things happened. Then Stephen was born. Some more things have happened since, but very few of them were as interesting.

Stephen grew up in the Atlanta area where he attended Pebblebrook High School, the Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts, graduating in 2006 with a major in Drama. He then went on to study at Wright State University, graduating in 2010 with a BFA in Acting, Cum Laude, (his father pointed out it wasn’t Summa Cum Laude and his mother pointed out that is his dad’s way of showing he cares). During his summers away from school Stephen studied theatre intensives hosted by UCLA, the Stella Adler Acting Studio in New York and the Atlanta Shakespeare Company.

He is wondering right now if writing in the third person was a good idea but now I’ve decided to shift into first person so I can feel more comfortable and relaxed as I write about myself. My training includes Classical Theatre, Shakespeare, Modern Realism, Improvisation and Stage Combat (Recognized as an Actor/Combatant in unarmed, single sword and rapier & dagger). I am also a skilled prestidigitator and served as the Producing Director of Wright State University’s Jubilee Directing Lab Theatre for the 2009-2010 season. In 2011, I spent a season with The Atlanta Shakespeare Company as a member of the Apprentice Company at the New American Shakespeare Tavern.

I recently was able to see myself on AMC’s The Walking Dead, NBC’s Game of your Life and Atlantis Studio’s Paula Peril: Midnight Whistle.  Right now I am in the middle of matinee performances of Romeo and Juliet with The Atlanta Shakespeare Company.

I love “The Craft” because I feel it is the best way for people from different walks of life to come into a neutral place and gain a collective outside understanding of how people relate to one another through a story
